Finally!
Something special to blog about...
Dad and mum wasn't around for dinner today. Apparently, they went to a wedding dinner... Big bro is at work... And left my sis and I...
So, I messaged many of my friends who are at Kuantan.
None of them were free. Yien Ying was busy outing with friends, Bao and Fennie(my heng dai) were working at PC Fair, Cho gotta eat with his grandma and Sean's busy preparing for his China trip(fully sponsored by his uncle). As a last resort, I messaged Li Ann - didn't message her earlier cause I'm bit paiseh(shy)...
To my surprise, she said ok...
Later on, her mum invited me to have dinner at her house. We(my sis and I) went there at 6.45pm. I've stopped by the local market to get some fruits - I don't wanna go her house with 2 combs of bananas(in cantonese)...
So, yeah... We reach her house...
Joey(Li Ann's dog) was the first to greet us. Had dinner with Li Ann and her parents. Talked a lot during the dinner. My sis was a bit shy. Li Ann and her mum tried to get her to talk by talking in Cantonese and Mandarin... We had a good time talking. It was a great but simple dinner. I've never eat home-cooked dinner for some time.
I get to know Li Ann's dad job a little bit more.
Its pretty nice job. He gotta work off-shore for two weeks and get to rest at home for another two weeks!!! We stayed till 9.45pm and left for home. And again, Joey is the last to say goodbye.
