CNY "Chor Sei" and "Chor Ng"

Both days are equally boring and both days are equally wasted.
That's what happened for the 4th and 5th day of my CNY!!!
Seriously, going to Genting is a waste of time if you're expecting your parents to go to the casino... If you're a guy, its never fun to walk around with your sis and your bro's gf!!! They'll go for shopping spree where you'll see yourself as a servant - carrying stuff that they bought or you'll be bored to death. SO, I've decided to walk around myself. I had my own sweet time enjoying a cup of coffee at Starbucks and played two games of bowling. But I've missed many many open houses that I was looking forward for... T__T Those ang pows flying~
Well, I'll just keep the complains to myself and make things short... The two days are just not my days...

CENTURY POST~

Finally!!!
My blog have reached its century post!
Didn't have much time to really update it every now and then...
But still, its an accomplishment!!!

CNY "Chor Sam"

Chor Sam was the best day of CNY I've had for this year.
Its special because this is the first time for me to invite so many friends to my house. In the previous years, my parents are too busy or if not, they are lazy to invite anyone to my house.

My dad started off with me waking up at 12pm.
Then, my family waited for my dad to come back home from Perwaja (yeah, he's kinda workaholic nowadays). He reached home at around 1.30pm. We had our lunch together at "Ong Lai" Restaurant. After lunch, I went to fetch Wei Shan from his home and went to Chibi's house. We stayed there till 3.30pm.

At 4pm, everyone came to my house.
It was awesome. Even though some of my friends didn't make it. Its great to have all my besties at my house, enjoying themselves. We gambled a bit (just for the fun of it) and chit-chated till 6pm. I've lost 8 bucks but like Chia said, "you lose money but you'll feel happy"... XD

At night, we went for a movie at Mega.
We were late for 20 minutes... The movie was cool, staring Leehom and Jackie Chan... After the movie, we came out and stood outside the cinema. Its the same old question again - "hui bin dou yumcha?" which means go where to drink tea? I was touching my head and then put my hand down... Suddenly, I felt something really cold at the tip of my hand and my hand gave a a quick reflex only then I realise its a girl's hand. Seriously awkward... Chibi told me that the girl is very pretty but I didn't look at her. He said it must be my lucky day...
LOL...

CNY "Chor Yat and Chor Yii"

Well, this year's CNY is kinda boring...
There is no place to go and nothing to do... Just went to my grandma's house and Toong's house on Chor Yat. Got a few ang pow from my own relatives and from Toong's mom.

Going to Toong's house was okay...
Despite being the only 19 year old guy there (the rest were either uninvited or unavailable on that day), it was okay... I still find my way to have a few topics with the juniors and Toong's mom as well... Jing was trying to study at TARC... Its my 5th year in a row going there... =)

Chor Yii is a lil bit better...
Started off the day with having breakfast at 96 Kopitiam (dad's friend coffee shop). Then we went to Uncle Mike's home to "bai nian". He looked healthier than I would have expected - which is a good thing cause his doctor predicted that he would have only 1/2 year of life left during 2008. Yet, he's still around even though he is much weaker now... I still remember how he used to call me "Chief Gangster"... Then we went to Aunt Ana's place for a brief while before going back to grandma's place for "Hoi Nin Fan"...

Just stayed at home the rest of the day...
Then we went ECM in the evening to shop... Bought a pair of short pants, a shirt and a pair of Nike basketball sneakers... x)

Grandma's cats~

This one have a love shape on it...

The basketball sneakers...
Bought it for just 129 bucks... =D

Tomorrow my friends gonna be at my home... x)

CNY Reunion Dinner

Like every year before this,
all my uncles and aunts are back at Kuantan for the "nin sam sap man" or "tein yuen" or simply CNY Reunion Dinner. Of course, all my cousins are back too...

This year's Reunion Dinner is really boring.
First, my dad is the eldest son in the family and my family reach there on time just to wait for the rest for like 30 minuntes... Plus, Kel is not around... Simon is in a bad mood over his work... Then, I feel that there's not much of a "click" between me and my cousins. They are still too childish and a few who grew really egoistic. Sam told me one of them is really "kuai lan"... I told her that they can "kuai lan" through action but I can "kuai lan" verbally...

Set apart the "kuai lan" people.
Each year, I would be more socialistic than this year. This year, however, I just sat on my sit the whole dinner. The only few people I've really talked to is my Aunt Lee Lee (dad's sister), her husband, my little cousins "Geli" boy and "Yii" boy, my grandma and grandpa.

Like I said, I can "kuai lan" verbally...
Dad came to ask us why there's so much dish left at our table. The first thing I said was "everyone is on diet except me". Throughout the dinner, I've said a few sarcastic words meant to bombard some people. "I'm not a mean person but I only talk in specific ways with specific people".

Then only fun thing in the whole dinner is "Geli" boy.
He's a short, skinny and talkative 10 year old kid which loves to stick to me. I like to make him speechless... =P

I told him that he's much older now.
He said I'm older. Then, I said you were 9 last year and 10 this year. Increased from 1 digit to 2 digits. But mine remain 2 digits. Then, he was playing with his chopsticks - poking his pants with it. Everyone looked at him and laughed. I said to "Yii" boy ("Geli" boy's elder bro) "dunno what you do at home till your lil bro will do such thing". Then, "Geli" begin to pull my arms and I told him not to be gay. He asked me what is gay? I told him to ask his bro and his bro was speechless. Later on, I told him not to "SM" me. Again, he asked me what is "SM"? Then he said "Owh, you're talking about SMS? I said "yeah, SMS is the plural for SM. Just like your teacher taught you that one cookies and many cookies. Just add "s" behind the word"... XD

The dinner ended at 10pm and we went back to our respective home.
Thank God I can tahan the whole dinner. But I'll always keep my dad's advice at heart - relatives are still relatives, no matter what, just don't be rude to them. I'm not rude and I will not be. I'll just keep things to myself...
